Synopsis

Al Pacino's staged reading of Oscar Wilde's "Salomé" with Jessica Chastain is chronicled. Pacino was filming the production at the Wadsworth Theater in Los Angeles as part of his plan to create a movie adaptation of Wilde's play. This documentary provides a behind-the-scenes look at Pacino and the then 29-year-old Chastain as they prepare to perform the play that tells the tragic story of Salomé, the step-daughter of King Herod and the woman who beheaded John the Baptist.
