Happy Death Day, Loving Vincent, Suburbicon and more titles available at the Cineplex Store in January!

We know that it's impossible to see every movie in the theatre, and especially in the cold of January, you may feel more inclined to stay indoors.

This month, the Cineplex Store has great new releases that mean you won't need to get up much further than your couch in order to watch some of last year's best films.

If you missed any of these when they played theatres, or if you simply want to watch them again, here are the titles that are coming to the Cineplex Store in January!

January 2nd

Our pick to buy: Happy Death Day

Happy Death Day takes a page from Groundhog Day but employs it for the horror genre. Jessica Rothe (La La Land) stars as a college student who is brutally murdered, yet finds herself in an endless loop--every time she dies, she starts her last day over again. This can only end once she reveals her murderer's identity.

Also available to buy: The Snowman

Our pick to buy: Loving Vincent

You've never seen an animated film like Loving Vincent before. Animated by oil paintings, the first film ever of its kind, the film utilizes Van Gogh's work to tell a fictionalized story about his death. The film features a voice cast including Douglas Booth, Saoirse Ronan and Chris O'Dowd, and is one of the most stunning pieces of animation you'll likely ever see.

Also available to buy: Geostorm

Available to rent:The Foreigner, Blade Runner 2049, Happy Death Day, The Snowman

This week's Movie for a Loonie: Spider-Man: Homecoming

January 23rd

Our pick to buy: Suburbicon

George Clooney's latest directorial effort didn't soar the way we expected, but it makes for a great watch at home. The film follows what looks to be your average suburban family in the 1950s, but there's a lot going on under the surface, including an elaborate plan by Gardner (Matt Damon) that leads to a violent outcome.

Also available to buy: Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, A Bad Mom's Christmas, Only the Brave

Available to rent: Jigsaw, Thank You For Your Service, Geostorm

This week's Movie for a Loonie: Ghost in the Shell

January 30th

Our pick to buy: Professor Marston & the Wonder Women

Another film that was largely overlooked while it was in theatres, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women is a must-watch about the creator of Wonder Woman and his intriguing life. A psychologist who was also the inventor of the lie detector test, and who was in a polyamorous relationship with his wife and their mistress, William Marston's life is depicted both respectfully and boldly in this atypical biopic.

Also available to buy: Long Time Running, Wonder, All I See is You

Available to rent: Lost Solace, Tyler Perry's Boo! 2
