Actor Michael Medeiros was known for his roles on the silver screen. Medeiros's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as "New York Nights" (1982) with George Ayer, the Jack Palance horror film "Alone in the Dark" (1982) and the action movie "Shakedown" (1988) with Peter Weller. He also appeared in the TV movie "Jacobo Timerman: Prisoner Without a Name, Cell Without a Number" (NBC, 1982-83). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Texas" (NBC, 1979-1983). He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the Peter Weller action picture "Robocop 2" (1990), the horror flick "Ticks" (1993) with Peter Scolari and the Peter Weller thriller "Sunset Grill" (1993). He also appeared in "Sometime in August" (1999). More recently, he continued to act in the John F Kerry documentary "Brothers In Arms: The Story of the Crew of Patrol Craft Fast 94" (2004), "Margot at the Wedding" (2007) and the comedic drama "Synecdoche, New York" (2008) with Philip Seymour Hoffman. He also appeared in the James McAvoy smash hit action film "X-Men: First Class" (2011). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Elementary" (CBS, 2012-). Most recently, Medeiros directed "Tiger Lily Road" (2014).
